Welcome to MAACMA web site!

Greeting, my friends, members and families.  I want to welcome you to our MAACMA's website and encourage you to learn about this highly respected non-for-profit organization. You'll see how it was founded and why it remains essential today. Please take a look at what we do and what we have to offer our society and our members.

Then I invite you to attend some of our programs and tours and learn about the advocacy work that our performed for our community . If you want to know what events are confronting New York City with MAACMA, I think you'll find that we provide the best Amateur art performance in town!

If you are concerned about a quality of life matter affecting the downtown Manhattan, Chinatown area, or the rest of New York metropolitan area, please join us and making the city a better place in which to live and work.

To our current members and supporter: many thanks for your loyalty, commitment, selfless donation and keen knowledge in so many areas. You're the reason to keep this organization effective and on course.

Mission Statement:

  • The Manhattan Amateur Art and Columbus Music Association, Inc. (MAACMA) supports and provides opportunities for their members, amateur artists & the general population.
  • To achieve greater impact in the communities in which we serve.

Objective:

  • To create, form and establish a cultural organization to aid, encourage, &  foster cooperation in relationships and connections among artists in the United States and China.
  • To foster the exchange of artistic and cultural ideas, information and personnel between the two nations
  • To create a community based group to provide affordable theater and related cultural events to the general public
  • To advance the appreciation of theater and related arts by means of presenting theatrical performances, recitals, exhibitions and other events.
  • To produce, distribute and otherwise disseminate information concerning theatrical events of all kinds
  • To endeavor to stimulate, expand and enrich the public's artistic horizon through the presentation of theatrical programs and related activities
  • To make such artistic and cultural enrichment available to the general population and generally to develop, cultivate, foster and advance the appreciation of the arts through the purpose of the corporation.
